This is not exactly a beautiful plant, but its medicinal properties make its cultivation absolutely worthwhile and it is a real treasure for treating several diseases. For the seeds to germinate they need light, so one must sow them superficially. It has an extremely wide scope of action, and is especially good for treating kindney diseases and for treating wounds due to its antiinflmmatory, and antiseptic action. It can also stimulate appetite and act as general tonic. On the downside is the fact that in the long run it may provoke allergies and promotes sun sensibility of the skin, so care must be taken in these cases.
