This is an interesting Fabiana species, it is much more resistent to the draught than Fabiana imbricata, but at the same time it is not as hardy. This species germinates relatively easy, and does not need any stratification. The germination starts after about 10 days. An important point to bear in mind is that it should not be exposed to direct sunlight, at least not during the germination phase. In one trial batch we have left the seeds in the sun for two days at about 25? C, and the seedlings died.
